Most common diseases in dogs and their symptoms.

-Parvovirus. This disease attacks the digestive and circulatory system of the dog, decreasing the amount of red blood cells in the blood which affects the heart. Vomiting, dehydration, diarrhea, lack of appetite, tiredness and bloody stools are some of the symptoms of this disease.

– Distemper. It is a very painful and dangerous disease that affects the central nervous system, the respiratory tract and the digestive system. It is highly contagious and if not vaccinated against this disease it could become lethal. Its main symptoms are secretions in the eyes and nose, fever, diarrhea, fatigue, sneezing or coughing and phlegm.

-Allergies. Dogs can be allergic to many things such as pollen, fleas, dust, mites, chemicals and even some foods. One of the most notorious symptoms is the excessive itching of the skin that will cause the dog to scratch with great desperation, thus appearing areas without hair and scales.

-Mastitis. It is an inflammation in the breast that usually appears in bitches that are breastfeeding and is due to a bacterial infection. The symptoms are inflammation, redness, suppuration of fluid, abscesses among others …

-Cancer. If the cancer is detected in time, the greater the chances of recovery, this is why we must pay attention to the appearance of symptoms such as inflammation, lumps, blood in the stool, swollen glands, vomiting with blood or lethargy.
